November 30th

The ice rink will officially open on Saturday, November 30, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM!

The 10th anniversary of the Ice Park will be celebrated with a spectacular ice show - a skating performance of Tchaikovsky's most beautiful Christmas ballet, "Orašar". This year, Zagreb also marks 150 years since the opening of its first outdoor ice rink, making this story of a toy that transforms into a prince intertwined with scenes from Christmas Eve in 1874, when the renowned Ban Mažuranić skated with the citizens of Zagreb at the newly opened ice rink on Mažuranac, illuminated by kerosene lanterns. The sounds of one of the most popular classical ballet scores will connect these two stories and bring scenes from the new Zagreb "Orašar" to the icy stage!

"Orašar" on ice will be performed by the skaters of Zagreb's LEDA Skating Club and the Zagrebačke Pahuljice Synchronized Skating Club, featuring soloists Karlo Požgajčić as the "Orašar" and Josip Tešija as Uncle Drosselmayer. A special attraction for all figure skating enthusiasts will be Claudia Scotti and Noah Quesada Grau, a highly awarded Spanish sports skating pair who will portray the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Prince, bringing the most beautiful scenes of this ballet to life with spectacular jumps and daring skating figures. The show is directed by Anja Maksić Japundžić, with choreography by Sandra Pavičić. Costumes and set design are credited to Dženisa Pecotić, Tihana Cizelj, and Sanja Jureško, while the production is managed by the team at Katapult Promocije. The opening ceremony will be hosted by Iva Šulentić, a well-known Croatian presenter and actress.

It's Christmas Eve!

Skate with us and enjoy traditional flavors like codfish, toasts, and the company of loved ones from 10 AM to 5 PM! Join us for a festive celebration.

December 25th

Celebrating Christmas

We open at 11:00 AM—just in time for everyone to gather at Tomislav Square, wake up with some fresh-air skating, exchange holiday greetings and share holiday stories.

Happy New Year’s Eve—Let’s welcome 2025 together!

Ice Park is the perfect place to welcome 2025! Join us for a unique Noon Celebration designed for all generations, featuring an exciting program and plenty of surprises awaiting you throughout the evening. This is the only spot in the city where you can literally glide into the New Year! Bring your friends, your good vibes, and let’s create unforgettable memories together!

On January 1, the Ice Park opens at 11:00 AM. Don’t forget: the way you start the New Year sets the tone for the whole year!

Skating school

A great opportunity for children and adults to learn how to skate with some professional assistance and to fall in love with this entertaining and healthy activity. Individual skating lessons are available until 5 PM, depending on the availability of the trainer.
